Founded in 1994 by Mr. George D. Ocasio
George D. Ocasio is the President and founder of GDO Contracting Corporation. Mr. Ocasio started his professional career in 1974 with Courter & Co., moving on to Olympia & York ten years later. In 1986 after securing a position with Colvent Corporation, Mr. Ocasio rose to the position of Chief Estimator. In 1994 Mr. Ocasio decided to begin his own Mechanical Contracting Firm and founded GDO Contracting Corporation.
Since 1994, GDO Contracting Corp. has assisted in building some of the most iconic structures throughout the New York City Metropolitan Area. GDO Contracting Corporation has memberships in the Regional Alliance for Small Contractors as well as the New York Builders Association and Mechanical Contractors Association. GDO is a fully certified NYS/NYC Minority Based Enterprise and fully bondable.
